- Director of YSU IB participated in the kick-off meeting of the DIGITECH project in Bishkek
Within the framework of the program, the Director of Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University M. Otaryan participated in the kick-off meeting of the DIGITECH project, which took place on January 12–16, 2026 in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. Representatives of partner universities and state institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Slovenia, Georgia and Armenia participated in the meeting.
During the five-day working discussions, the members of the partnership network addressed the following main issues:
• the program management and quality assurance system,
• academic mobility and curriculum planning,
• the program sustainability and long-term impact strategy,
•the principles of equipment acquisition in accordance with European Union requirements,
• the processes of exchange, dissemination and publication of program results.
The participation of Ijevan branch of YSU in the DIGITECH program is an important step in terms of expanding international educational cooperation, aligning educational programs with European standards and developing modern, practically-oriented technical education in the region.
The DIGITECH “Introduction of innovative technologies to the digitalization of technological processes and production” program is implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) strand of the Erasmus+ program.
