On March 7, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at Ijevan branch of YSU under the chairmanship of M. M. Otaryan.

 The meeting approved the schedule of the sessions of the YSU IB Academic Council for the 2nd semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, the list of students receiving nominal scholarships for the 2nd semester of the same academic year, the tuition fees for admission to YSU IB for the 2026-2027 academic year by specialties (educational programs) and credits, the policy of informing and engaging graduates of the Ijevan branch of the “Yerevan State University” Foundation, changes to the “Procedure for selecting the head of the department of the Ijevan branch of the “Yerevan State University” Foundation”, and the issue of developing additional educational programs and training courses was discussed.

Regarding the tuition fees for admission to YSU IB for the 2026-2027 academic year, it was noted that the issue was discussed at the meeting of the Directorate on March 6, it was decided to propose to the Academic Council to make minor changes to the tuition fees of the YSU Ijevan branch for the 2026-2027 academic year. At the meeting of the Academic Council, it was decided to approve the draft of the tuition fees for admission to the YSU Ijevan branch for the 2026-2027 academic year.

A. Makaryan, Advisor to the Director of the YSU Ijevan Branch, reported on the issue of approving the policy of informing and involving graduates of the YSU Ijevan Branch. It was presented that this policy defines the strategic approaches, principles and main directions of informing, cooperating with and involving graduates of the YSU Ijevan Branch in the activities of the branch, in accordance with the YSU Ijevan Branch Charter and internal legal acts.

The main goal of the policy is to form and develop continuous, systematic and mutually beneficial cooperation between the branch and graduates, contributing to the development of the educational, scientific and social activities of the university, improving the quality of educational programs, the professional progress and career development of graduates, improving infrastructure, and attracting qualified personnel.

Scientific Secretary M. Atoyan reported on the first current issue, referring to the decision of the YSU Ijevan Branch Academic Council in 2019. On the amendments made to the “Procedure for the Selection of the Head of the Department of Yerevan State University” approved on April 27, 2019, which were approved at the meeting of the Academic Council.

The second current issue concerned the development of additional educational programs and training courses, in connection with which the deans of the faculties were instructed to submit the packages of additional educational programs and training courses to the Academic Secretary of the YSU IB Academic Council by March 13, according to the established format.
