Varditer Poghosyan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Emergency Situations, Physical Education and Sports of YSU IB, delivered an opening and welcoming speech. He welcomed the participants and attendees, emphasized the goal of holding the open championship, which is to popularize sports in Tavush region, improve the sportsmanship of the participants and bring out the best, then wished the participants success, and those present a spectacular game.

The games were held in a group format, according to which the loser is eliminated from further competition.

The volleyball players from Sarigyugh, Ptghavan, Gandzakar, and YSU Ijevan branch stood out for their skills.

The 1st team of Sariguyugh and Ptghavan team fought for the first place. The Sariguyugh 1st team won with a score of 2:1.

Thus, the 1st team of Sarigyugh took 1st place, the team of Ptghavan took 2nd place, and the teams of Gandzakar and YSU Ijevan branch took 3rd place.

The winning teams were awarded with medals, cups, and certificates by YSU IB directorate.
