May 16 is the foundation day of Yerevan State University. This year, YSU celebrated the 107th anniversary of its foundation. On the anniversary day, the university alumni gathered under their own roof. The YSU Alumni Forum united the university alumni “under one roof”, creating a platform for ideas, experiences, memories and new collaborations.
At the start of the forum, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan delivered a speech, presenting the new vision of the university’s development and the importance of alumni involvement in building the future of YSU. Then, panel and thematic discussions, alumni speeches, an awards ceremony for excellence were held.
The YSU Alumni Forum continued in an informal format, with interactive events, contacts, new acquaintances and conversations about future collaborations.
Lecturers, graduates and students of the Faculty of Applied Arts of the YSU Ijevan branch actively participated in the alumni forum, creating and designing elements with YSU symbolism, organizing a glass painting master class for the attendees and helping the attendees take home objects symbolizing YSU, created by their own hands.
On behalf of the YSU IB leadership and the entire staff, we warmly congratulate the 107th anniversary of the foundation of the Alma Mater, wishing significant successes and continuous achievements for the development and progress of our state.
