- The final round of "The Smartest" intellectual game at Ijevan branch of YSU
The game was conducted by the Specialist of the Department of Internship Organization and Cooperation with Stakeholders of YSU IB A. Sargsyan, the President of the Student Scientific Society S. Abazyan and 2 members L. Tamrazyan and L. Blbulyan.
In the first stage of the intellectual game, the students were given 12 questions testing their general knowledge. The 6 students who scored the highest points were given the opportunity to continue the game in the second stage. Ani Tamrazyan from Haghartsin Secondary School, Nver Gharibyan and Anzhela Dallakyan from Aygehovit Secondary School, and Aida Ordinyan, Anna Shahinyan and Haykaz Bejanyan from Sevkar Secondary School advanced to the second round.
In the second round, the participants chose two topics from 12 topics and answered questions on their chosen topic within 1 minute. Nver Gharibyan, Ani Tamrazyan and Anzhela Dallakyan advanced to the next round.
In the third round, the participants had to answer questions on a topic they had previously chosen. Ani Tamrazyan, a student from Haghartsin Secondary School, scored the most points and was recognized as the winner of “The Smartest” game. She was awarded a certificate and a medal, as well as a book donated by the branch (Georgi Grigoryants’ historical novel “Thunderstorm over Ararat”) and other gifts.
Nver Gharibyan and Anzhela Dallakyan, students from Aygehovit Secondary School, took 2nd and 3rd places, being awarded certificates, medals and gifts.
All participants were given certificates of participation, booklets and stickers of the YSU Ijevan branch. The students were very impressed and excited by the game, as they were able to uphold the honor of their school in the final round.
The YSU IB Internship Organization and Stakeholder Cooperation Department plans to organize such events more often in the future in order to further strengthen the school-university connection.
