During the working week, the partner universities discussed competency-based approaches to engineering education, the results of the needs assessment of educational programs, the processes of designing and describing modules based on learning outcomes, as well as the next steps in introducing new educational programs at universities.
Important components of the program were also thematic seminars dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market, cyber security, project-based learning methodology and the best educational practices of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
During the working visit, the participants toured a number of the university’s laboratories, got acquainted with the activities of the hydrogen propulsion systems, business innovations, control systems and automation engineering laboratories, studying the application of modern technologies in education and research.
This meeting was an important opportunity to exchange experience with international partners, coordinate joint work and develop modern, labor market-relevant educational programs at the Ijevan branch of YSU.
