At the Academic Council session, the following were approved: the schedule of meetings for the YSU Ijevan Branch Scientific Council for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, the list of students receiving nominal scholarships for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, and the "Procedure for the Activities of YSU Ijevan Branch Educational Program Heads" (in a new edition), originally approved by Decision No. 57/1 of the YSU Ijevan Branch Scientific Council meeting on January 27, 2022. Additionally, the matter of organizing a competitive selection process for the deans of the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Applied Arts was presented. 

Among the current agenda items, discussions were held regarding the "Green University" concept for the YSU Ijevan Branch (YSU IB), the approval of tuition fees for modular supplementary education programs to be implemented at the YSU IB during the 2026–2027 academic year, and the appointment of Lianush S. Blbulyan, a third-year student in the "Informatics and Applied Mathematics" program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, as the Head of the YSU IB Student Scientific Society.

During the meeting, Mr. Otaryan presented a certificate of appreciation on behalf of YSU Rector H. Hovhannisyan to an Associate Professor of the Department of Programming and Information Technologies at the YSU IB Faculty of Natural Sciences, to Robert M. Yolchyan, in recognition of his long-standing, impeccable service, significant achievements, substantial contributions, and unwavering dedication at Ijevan Branch of YSU.

Regarding the "Green University" concept for the YSU Ijevan Branch submitted for approval, it was noted that the document was developed by the Branch as a comprehensive framework for environmental responsibility, the implementation of sustainable development principles, and the enhancement of ecological awareness within the university community. The primary objective of the "Green University" initiative is to minimize the institution's negative environmental impact and to foster an environmentally literate generation. The concept outlined the Branch's vision, core principles, and objectives, while also detailing an action plan and establishing other essential provisions. Acting in accordance with Clause 23, Sub-clause 4 of the YSU Ijevan Branch Charter and Clause 4, Sub-clause 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the YSU Ijevan Branch Academic Council, the Academic Council approved the "Green University" concept for the YSU Ijevan Branch, subject to certain amendments.

The proposed amendments also included the approval of the list of modular supplementary education programs to be implemented at the YSU Ijevan Branch during the 2026–2027 academic year, as well as the corresponding tuition fees.

The members of the Academic Council confirmed Lianush Blbulyan as the Head of the YSU Ijevan Branch Student Scientific Society, congratulating and expressing the hope that, under her leadership, the Society would engage in active and effective work aligned with its mandate by frequently organizing student scientific events and initiatives.
