Cooperation with the "Armenian-French Friendship and Exchange" Union continues

On April 2, 2026, a meeting with Catherine Lesemple, a member of the "Armenian-French Friendship and Exchange" Union, was held at the Ijevan branch of YSU. The meeting was attended by the Director of the YSU IB M. Otaryan, Advisor to the Director A. Makaryan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities N. Grigoryan, representatives of the Chair of Foreign Languages: Head of the "French Language and Literature" Educational Program R. Mirzoyan, Lecturer A. Hovhannisyan, Zh. Ghaltakhchyan, Head of the Angela Vanesyan Francophonie Center Mary Gasparyan, and students.

The educational programs presented by YSU IB have been guaranteed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Higher Education as modular programs of additional education

We are pleased to inform you that in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education, Science and Sports No. 471-A/2 of March 26, 2019, more than three dozen training programs presented by the YSU Ijevan branch have been approved as additional education modular programs. They are intended for employees of local self-government bodies, community servants of the staffs of communities of the regions of Armenia, specialists, managers of the state and private sectors, and all interested parties.

Presentation of certificates and letters of appreciation for participation in the international scientific-practical conference

On March 28, YSU IB Director Mher Otaryan solemnly awarded Anna Tamamyan, a 4th-year student of the "Tourism" educational program of the Faculty of Economics, and Smbat Tsutsulyan, the supervisor, assistant professor of the Department of Tourism Management and Culturology, candidate of economic sciences, with certificates of participation (delivering a scientific report) in the international scientific-practical online conference held on February 25, 2026, at the initiative of Gzhel State University of the Russian Federation.

Working visit of the YSU IB delegation to the University of Maribor, Slovenia, within the framework of the DIGITECH program

On March 16-21, 2026, a meeting of project partners and a series of best practice exchange events were held in Maribor, Slovenia, within the framework of the DIGITECH program funded by the European Union.

Good luck to 2026 graduates of YSU IB Master's Program!

On March 12, 2026, the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates of the distance learning master's degree program "School Pedagogy and Methodology" in the "General Pedagogy" specialty took place at the Ijevan branch of YSU.

On March 7, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at Ijevan branch of YSU under the chairmanship of M. M. Otaryan.

The visit of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of France to Ijevan branch of YSU

On March 6, 2026, representatives of the French Embassy in Armenia visited the Ijevan branch of YSU: Dominique Weiss, attached for educational and cultural cooperation, Gagans Logan, attached for university and scientific cooperation, and French volunteer Cordelia Dex.

Our student has been awarded as "Best Student of 2025" by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan

The Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Yerevan, with the support of the Association of Students of Russian Universities in Armenia, solemnly celebrated Student Day. The award ceremony for the winners of the already traditional “Best Student of the Year” nomination was held within the framework of the celebration.
