The main functions of the library are:
- Registration of educational library through a ticket
- Literature service in line with the composition and demand of the readers
- Immediate help to the reader in the process of searching literature, choosing and providing information
- Formation of library funds and targeted completion in accordance with the curricula and programs of the University
- Application of different forms and methods of individual, group and mass information (Information Day, thematic events, new publications, book exhibitions, bibliographical listings, references, electronic catalogs, etc.)
- Fund review, reorganization, decomposition of literature that has lost its relevance
- Periodical analysis of funds with the participation of departments, verification of the availability of educational literature
- Increase library staff participation in the field of qualification improvement (trainings, conferences, seminars, etc.) organized at the university and in the Republic of Armenia, trips for experience exchange
